Terms of service
The agreement between you and Rivaa about using the product.
Version 2026-10-29
Agreeing to these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and Rivaa. By creating an account you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Rivaa.
Who can use Rivaa
- You must be 18 or over.
- You must hold a current licence from one of the professional councils we accept, or a Class 12 certificate, and it must be yours. Our team checks it before you can meet anyone.
- One person, one account. One licence or certificate can belong to one account.
- You must not have been banned from Rivaa before, and must not be barred by law from using it.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at newrivaadating@gmail.com if you think someone else has used it. Everything you tell us about yourself must be true, and you must keep it up to date. If your licence lapses or is withdrawn, we may withdraw your verification, and you will not be shown to anyone until a current one is approved.
How to behave
Rivaa only works if people can trust it. You must not:
- Harass, threaten, bully, demean or discriminate against anyone.
- Pretend to be someone else, or use someone else’s licence or photos.
- Post sexually explicit or violent content, or anything illegal, hateful or misleading.
- Put phone numbers, social media handles, links or other contact details in your profile. Share them in a conversation once you trust someone.
- Use Rivaa to sell anything, recruit, solicit money or promote a business.
- Collect other members’ information, automate the app, or try to break or get around its security.
Reviews and enforcement
A person on our team reviews your licence, your profile text and every change to it, and our systems check your photos. We may refuse anything that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why. If you break these terms we may warn you, suspend your account, or ban you; a serious breach can lead straight to a ban. You can ask us to look again at a decision by writing to newrivaadating@gmail.com.
Your safety
We check that each member holds the document they claim, but we do not run criminal background checks, and a verified licence is not a guarantee of anyone’s character or intentions. You are responsible for your own safety when you talk to or meet people. Meet in a public place, tell a friend where you are going, and never send money to someone you have met on Rivaa. Report anyone who makes you uncomfortable — reporting is one tap from any profile or conversation, and the person is never told who reported them.
What you post
Your photos, words and messages remain yours. So that Rivaa can work, you give us permission to store, copy, resize and show them to other members as the app intends, while your account exists and for as long as we keep them under the privacy policy. You must have the right to everything you upload.
Rivaa itself
The app, its design and its name belong to Rivaa. Rivaa is free to use today; if paid features are ever added, their price and terms will be shown before you pay anything. We may change or stop parts of the service, and we will give you reasonable notice of changes that affect you.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time by writing to newrivaadating@gmail.com from the email address on your account; doing it in the app is coming. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or that put other members at risk.
Liability
We work hard to keep Rivaa safe and running, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent Nepali law allows, we are not responsible for how other members behave, on Rivaa or off it, or for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law does not allow to be limited.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. If you have a problem, please tell us first at newrivaadating@gmail.com and we will try to put it right. Disputes that cannot be resolved are for the courts of Nepal.
Changes
We will tell you in the app before a change to these terms that matters takes effect, and ask you to agree again where needed. The version and date are at the top of this page.
